Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide is often referred to as laughing gas because of its euphoric effects upon inhaling and is commonly used in dentistry for it's mild sedative and pain reducing effects. It is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask that fits over your nose. It can help you relax and be more comfortable during certain procedures like cleaning, fillings and extraction. Since it is a mild sedative that wears off as soon as the mask is removed you can easily drive yourself home.
